Old Town Coppell
The walkable historic core, where Coppell actually feels like a small town.
Old Town sits on Coppell's original townsite, the patch of ground the city grew out of before it incorporated in 1962. Today it's the closest thing North Texas has to a true walkable town center: a square ringed by local restaurants, boutiques, the Coppell Arts Center, and the Saturday Coppell Farmers Market. The housing here is a deliberate mix. You'll find newer craftsman-style homes and townhomes built out through the 2010s alongside older stock, many with front porches and brick facades meant to echo the district's heritage. Because Coppell is land-locked and essentially built out, Old Town is one of the few pockets where you'll still see relatively recent construction, but inventory is thin and turns quickly. Buyers trade yard size for the ability to walk to dinner, coffee, and the market.
Price Range
Roughly $500K to $850K, with townhomes at the lower end and larger newer single-family homes above it. Prices move with a tight, low-inventory market, so ask your agent for current comps on the specific block before anchoring to any number.
Property Types
Single-family homes, Townhomes, Some newer craftsman-style builds
Year Built
Mixed: older homes on the original townsite alongside substantial newer construction from the 2000s and 2010s. Median build year across the area is mid-1990s.
HOA: Varies by product - many of the newer townhome and infill developments carry an HOA, while older single-family homes often do not. Confirm dues and coverage for the specific property.
